The friend of Mitchell Angela was killed in a crash at age 15. Mitchell was terribly affected by the time with this incident, and Angela is the reason for Mitchell's song Angel in the album she released her debut. The publication Chicken Soup of the Preteen Soul along with the 7th Heaven episode, Nothing Endures But Change also mentions the incident.
